Choose one system story, not a catalogue
A WETEX exhibitor may need to explain an entire energy network, water process, mobility platform or sustainability programme. Trying to place every product and data point into one loop usually makes the experience harder to follow. Choose one decision, process or outcome that the visitor should understand first.
A useful structure is problem, system response and measurable outcome. For example, a smart-grid sequence can begin with demand, reveal how generation and storage are balanced, and finish with the operational result. A desalination story can show intake, treatment, recovery and distribution without reproducing every engineering diagram.
What should a Holobox show at WETEX?
The strongest subjects are processes with depth, movement or hidden layers: a solar plant, wind farm, hydrogen system, water-treatment line, battery enclosure, district-cooling network, electric-vehicle charging ecosystem or smart-city digital twin. A Holobox can separate these layers and reveal how they work together in a short visual sequence.
Use accurate models and approved claims. Simplify geometry, labels and data until the main idea remains clear from several metres away. If the display presents projected savings, emissions reductions or performance improvements, identify the assumptions and approval source before the content is shown publicly.
Convert technical files into exhibition content
Engineering teams often begin with CAD, BIM, GIS, simulation or product files created for specialists. Those files may contain too much geometry, confidential detail or text that is unreadable on an exhibition floor. Select the components that support the story, remove sensitive information and rebuild materials for strong depth and contrast.
Test an early sequence on the actual Holobox. Fine pipework, transparent layers and small data labels can look clear on a workstation but disappear under stand lighting. A physical test allows the team to correct scale, camera position, transparency and timing before final approval.
Can a Holobox explain a complex sustainability system?
Yes, when the explanation is designed in stages. The enclosed Holobox can hold a stable three-dimensional subject while a presenter describes flows, cutaways or changes over time. Visitors can first see the complete system and then follow a controlled reveal of the parts that matter to their role.
The visual should support the technical conversation rather than replace it. Prepare a short automatic loop for passing visitors and optional deeper sequences for engineers, government stakeholders, investors or project owners who want to examine a specific part of the solution.
Place the display for visibility and discussion
Position the Holobox where its main subject can be seen from the visitor flow but where a small group can pause without blocking the aisle or stand entrance. Check reflections from LED walls, direct spotlights, polished materials and daylight before approving the location.
Allow a representative to stand beside the unit and continue the explanation. Use interaction and AI with clear boundaries
Touch, gesture or a focused AI avatar can let a visitor choose a sector, asset type, language or technical topic. Keep the choices limited and connect each path to a useful next step such as a detailed demonstration, specialist introduction or meeting request.
Use approved answers and escalation rules for technical, regulatory and commercial questions. If the experience collects visitor information, explain what is captured, request clear consent and send the result into the exhibitor's established lead-management process rather than an isolated event database.
Rehearse the full three-day operation
Test power, connectivity, audio, content control and any interactive input under the final stand conditions. Keep approved content and a non-interactive backup available locally so the core demonstration can continue if venue connectivity is limited or interrupted.
Brief the stand team on the sequence the visitor has seen, the question to ask next and the correct human handover. The best display creates a shared starting point for the conversation and gives technical specialists more time to discuss the buyer's actual project.
