01

Start with the official 2026 event plan

Automechanika Dubai 2026 is scheduled for 10 to 12 November at Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai. The official event website describes more than 1,500 exhibitors and over 30,000 trade buyers, making it a major regional meeting point for automotive parts, components, diagnostics, workshop equipment, tyres, electronics and mobility technologies.

Confirm the hall, stand number, contractor, loading route and installation window before fixing the Holobox position. Share the final stand drawing early so power, reflections, nearby LED walls, visitor flow and the intended viewing distance can be checked before content production is complete.

02

What can a Holobox show at Automechanika Dubai?

A Holobox is most useful when a product is difficult to transport, too small to inspect from a distance, or contains important parts hidden inside a casing. Suitable subjects include an exploded EV battery, electric motor, transmission, turbocharger, braking system, thermal-management circuit, charging unit, tyre construction or connected diagnostic platform.

Build each sequence around one useful question. A cutaway can reveal component placement, an animated flow can show cooling or lubrication, and a comparison can explain the difference between two parts or operating conditions. The first idea should be understandable within seconds, with detailed specifications available through the stand team.

03

Turn CAD and engineering files into exhibition content

Product teams often begin with CAD, scan, simulation or technical-training files created for engineers. A complete source model may contain excessive geometry, confidential dimensions and labels that cannot be read on a busy exhibition floor. Select only the components needed for the story, remove sensitive information and rebuild materials for strong depth and contrast.

Test an early version on the actual Holobox. Fine wiring, transparent housings and small fasteners that look clear on a workstation can disappear under stand lighting. A physical test gives the team time to adjust scale, separation, camera position and the timing of each exploded view.

04

Can a Holobox explain an EV battery or drivetrain?

Yes. Begin with the complete pack or drivetrain so the visitor recognises the system, then separate the enclosure, modules, cells, cooling circuit, power electronics and motor in a controlled sequence. Use colour and movement only where they explain a real relationship, such as energy flow, heat management or power delivery.

The display should remain technically accurate without becoming a full workshop manual. Prepare a short automatic loop for passing visitors and optional deeper sequences that a representative can trigger for engineers, distributors, fleet operators, workshop owners or training teams.

05

Use interaction for parts selection and diagnostics

A nearby tablet can let visitors choose a product family, vehicle category, component layer or diagnostic scenario. Keep the menu limited and make every choice lead to a useful next step: a specification, physical sample, distributor discussion, technical demonstration or meeting request.

An AI avatar can provide a multilingual welcome or answer a controlled set of approved product questions. Pricing, warranty, fitment, safety and vehicle-specific advice should move clearly to a trained representative rather than relying on an unrestricted automated answer.

06

Combine the digital model with real components

The Holobox does not need to replace the physical product. A strong automotive stand can use the three-dimensional sequence to reveal what is hidden, then direct the visitor to a real component, test bench, scanner or sample for closer inspection.

Keep the physical and digital stories consistent. If the Holobox shows one product generation while the nearby sample or brochure shows another, visitors may misunderstand compatibility or performance. Approve the final model, terminology and claims with the product team before the event.

07

Position the display for useful conversations

Place the Holobox where the main component can be seen from the aisle but where a small group can pause without blocking the stand entrance. Check reflections from polished body panels, glass showcases, high-output spotlights and LED walls before approving the location.

Leave room for a representative and, if used, an interactive tablet beside the unit. The HOLO DXB Holobox is an enclosed display intended for close professional viewing; an exposed hologram fan is not an equivalent substitute when the experience requires detailed cutaways, safe visitor proximity or controlled interaction.

08

Prepare for three exhibition days

Test the final content, power, audio, controls and any network connection under the completed stand lighting. Store approved media and a non-interactive version locally so the central demonstration can continue if the venue network or live integration is interrupted.

Brief more than one stand representative on the visual sequence, controls and lead handover. The display should remain useful during busy periods and while product specialists are in meetings.

  • Eight to ten weeks before: define the product story and reserve the display position
  • Four to six weeks before: simplify and approve CAD, data and technical claims
  • One to two weeks before: test the final content and interaction on the Holobox
  • Before opening: rehearse the explanation, qualification, handover and backup mode
09

Measure qualified automotive interest

Track outcomes that reflect the commercial objective: distributor enquiries, workshop demonstrations, fleet discussions, requested specifications, meetings booked and agreed follow-up actions. Record which product or sequence interested each qualified visitor so the response after the event can continue with relevant information.

Event dates, venue and participation information in this guide are based on the official Automechanika Dubai website, automechanika-dubai.ae.messefrankfurt.com, and should be reconfirmed with the organiser before production.
