Black screen on power-up
Wait 30 seconds — the unit runs a calibration self-test before showing the logo. If after a minute it's still black, power-cycle once. If still black, contact support.
Content uploaded but not rendering
Almost always a file size or codec issue. Try a smaller test file first. The dashboard logs show the exact decode error.
Wi-Fi keeps dropping
Most often a captive-portal hotel network. Switch to wired or to an event-grade SSID without a portal. Walls and other 5 GHz devices in dense expo halls also cause this.
Visible color banding
Source content is the usual culprit — re-export at a higher bit-rate. If banding is still present at the highest bit-rate, the unit may need recalibration; contact support.
When to escalate
Anything involving smoke, smell, sparks or unusual heat — power off immediately and call us. Don't try a fix yourself.
